Why don't I have the gift of patience
so that I can endure more in life?

so that I don't get hurt
things I've done in my past
could then be undone

all my plans go to waste

don't forget me
patience I haven't had time to cultivate
seems to only be found in the many
I want to have this quality
in all my days
may my patience
enhance my person
patience is good
if you want to keep your friends
may my patience
get others' responses
I should now think again
and listen to patience's inner song
may my patience
remind me and give me courage
carefully patiently plan
then I too will have everything and work out.
May my patience
reflect everything I do.
